| The new Quantim B2 autoclave has been re-designed to offer many benefits to those larger, busy dental practices which need to process high volumes of wrapped or pouched instruments. Technical and design enhancements have produced more reliable sterilisation cycles but perhaps the most important improvement has been made to the process B cycle time. With modified airflow and cooling systems, a wide variety of loads can now be sterilized and delivered dry in less than fifty minutes. Available in either 16 or 22 litre capacities, the Quantim B is an ideal partner for the bench-top Statim 2000 S-cycle cassette autoclave. The Statim will sterilise your handpieces between patients in only 8 minutes, which improves clinical efficiency and reduces your investment in handpieces. |

| The removal of air has long been recognised as critical to achieving sterilisation because air can act as a barrier to the sterilising steam. In fact, unless the autoclave can evacuate air from inside hollow, or wrapped, instruments before sterilisation begins, they would not necessarily be sterilised. This ‘pre-evacuation’ and sterilisation can only be assured in a validated B or S-cycle autoclave. The new European Standard EN13060 recognises that there is more than one way to achieve the removal of air. The reliable action of the Quantim B cycle displaces air from the sterilisation chamber by a triple vacuum pulse which ensures safe and effective sterilisation of all dental instruments. The Quantim B also has a highly efficient automatic or manual drying cycle. |

Safety door A unique safety door which opens at the touch of a button - only when it is safe to do so - can be pushed to close just as easily. An emergency manual opening system is also incorporated in this mechanism. |
Advanced Filter System A conveniently located biological micro filter will not allow bacteria or spores above 0.3µm to enter the sterilising chamber during the drying cycle. |
Record Keeping The Quantim B2 vacuum autoclave now features an RS232 interface for use with the Quantim B2 thermal printer and Quantim B2 USB Flash Memory Card or direct connection to a computer. This provides easy and secure documentation and record keeping. |
